Welcome to the
school year at Beenleigh State School.
Our
school has been serving the Beenleigh Community since 1871 and is the sixth
oldest school in the state. Our motto, 'Nothing but the best', exemplifies the
educational experience we offer. It is a privilege to have been provided with
the opportunity to be Principal of this wonderful school.
Our school is about learning! As Principal of Beenleigh,
it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors—teachers,
students and parents—are enthusiastic to be here and are ready to learn. This
attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic improvement in a
positive environment.
We
are committed to learning and the development of the whole child and our goal
is for every student to develop their unique skills and potential and become
active and responsible citizens with inquiring minds, confidence and healthy
bodies.
We
set high standards, provide excellent teaching and support programs and are
proud of our students’ academic achievement over many years. Our goal is to be the
